Meet the founders

With a passion for civic duties and a desire to help communities in need, we have come together to provide aid.

Irfan Mustafa:

"Witnessing the effect of war on millions of people and for example, what's currently happening to Palestinian civilians over the last few months has upset me immensely. Pictures of parents holding their children’s lifeless bodies and orphans surrounded by chaos and destruction has really made me realise that I must do something to help these people. The loss of a child is a pain that no words or actions can heal. Whether these people are Muslim, Christian or any other religion it does not matter. What matters is helping these people in their time of need and helping ease their suffering and pain. This is why I have founded The G.M. I hope that one day such tragedies will never take place, and I believe that at The G.M. Foundation, I can truly work toward this ideal world."

 

Osama Abdelkader:

"Every human being carries a dignity and worth that should not be decreased by their circumstances. I believe that with the skills that I have been blessed with, it is my responsibility to offer aid to those fleeing dire situations, and I truly believe that with The G.M. Foundation I can make a difference."

 

Austyn Tempesta:

"Watching the wars unfold across the world is extremely upsetting. The vast atrocities cannot be understated, and the victims of these wars need help. People deserve a feeling of value and every human life has dignity. Often when refugees come to the UK, they face vast hardships, in areas such as food, safety, shelter, education, and integrating into a new environment. I became a trustee at the G.M. Foundation because, I genuinely believe that we can actually make a difference in people's lives."

 

Mrs. Huma Irfan:
"Over the past few years I’ve seen many terrible things going on around the world. I have always wanted to do something for the people. Alhamdulillah, Allah has given us this opportunity to serve the people through this organisation. I’ve seen people suffering and dying; losing their young children and their loved ones; unfortunately it’s a tragedy that all the nations are just silently watching. With the G.M. Foundation we are here to help and support the entire humanity. We want to support and help people in need as much as we can to provide them theirs needs. At the end it’s not about religion, it’s about humanity.
